The fuselage of К-10 SWIFT is a result of multiple tests in aerodynamic tube. It’s a semi-monocoque with trilaminar bearing aeronautical grade carbon fiber and 4 spars. The frame made of high quality steel is located in the central part of the fuselage for providing high reliability of the aircraft.
The wing of K-10 SWIFT provides unique take off and landing characteristics. The wing is a classic metallic monospar with modified NACA 23015 profile, slot lip flaps and ailerons as lifting devices. Because of the special fastening device of wing panel, the wing can be easily folded by two people during 5 minutes, which is very convenient for transportation and storage. Because of that, you don’t need large hangar for the aircraft storage, and shipment of it is not a problem anymore.
Empennage is with electrical trimmers of rudder and elevator due which minimal load for control system is achieved.
The aircraft control system is dual, with classic joysticks and pedals adjustable according to pilot’s height. According to the client’s need pedal control can be duplicated with manual control for disabled pilots.
The structure of landing gear with nose wheel shock-proof mounting and disk hydraulic brakes of main wheels provides ease-of-operation in the air and on the earth, even on unprepared ground.
Large baggage area can be from 300 lt to 360 lt depending on the aircraft version. Both versions of the aircraft possess the seats with folding back for free access to the baggage area and a basket which keeps the goods from movement.
